Swatara State Park Master Plan, Lebanon and Schuylkill Counties, Pennsylvania
.... SC served as leader of a multi-disciplinary team to develop recommendations to invest $23 million for improvements in the 3500-acre state park.

SC was selected for its experience in public participation and design advocacy planning. The master plan received a commendation from the Pennsylvania Environmental Advisory Board for the public participation process.



SC GIS-based mapping was used to analyze and design a natural resource-based plan for development.

Montgomery County, Pennsylvania

The SC master plan and construction documents creatively integrated active sports facilities and wetland boardwalks on this 77-acre environmentally sensitive site.

Sweet Arrow Lake Master Plan, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania

SC’s successful master plan for Sweet Arrow Lake County Park documented over $2 million in proposed improvements. Soon after the master plan was completed, the county secured a donation for and built a new pedestrian bridge over the park’s dramatic waterfall, as recommended in the SC plan.  In the fall of 2007, work was nearly completed for nearly $1million in park improvements at the park including an improved access road, parking, utility improvements and stormwater management featuring several Best Management Practices.

The SC plan for this 90-acre park includes eight athletic fields, amphitheater, several play areas, three miles of trails and several park buildings.

SC completed documentation for the $10 million construction project. The master plan was completed in 1999.
