Tanglewood, West Chester University, West Chester, Pennsylvania

Tanglewood is the official residence of the President of West Chester University. The master plan for the site re-establishes the importance of the landscape on an equal basis with the architecture. The plan creates a series of garden “rooms” suitable for University receptions and private use by its residents.

Elmwood Park Zoo, Norristown, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania

After a decade, the Elmwood Park Zoo achieved the development goals set forth in the 1992 Master Plan prepared by SC. The Zoo retained SC again in 2002 to create a new master plan for expansion and renovations at the regional zoo through the year 2022. The Master Plan specifies over $60 million in physical improvements that benefit both the Zoo and the Montgomery County community. The plan includes bridges, a regional trail link, neighborhood sidewalk connections, improved parking, and major investments in the existing North American exhibits and a new collection of South American exhibits.

University of the Sciences in Philadelphia Quadrangle, Philadelphia, PA

A new quadrangle and promenade is the center point of the expanding West Philadelphia campus of the University of the Sciences. The South Campus Quadrangle is a major focus for the entire campus and serves as the traditional college green for events, social interaction, quiet study and contemplation.

A portion of 43rd Street was transformed into a generous pedestrian spine through the South Campus.

Arcadia University, Glenside, Pennsylvania
           
 

     
     
The 2006 Arcadia University Landscape Master Plan proposed over $12 million in site improvements over the fifty acre campus located in Glenside, PA.

The Simone Collins team of experts worked closely with administrators, faculty and staff to create a series of landscape enhancements that will enrich the campus experience. SC is already working with Arcadia to implement many of the Landscape Master Plan recommendations.
