The Tohickon Aqueduct is an extraordinary timber bridge that carries the Delaware Canal State Park waterway and towpath over the Tohickon Creek.
SC secured multiple grant awards to fund the design and engineering of the timber superstructure by a SC team in coordination with PA DCNR and DEP.
To learn more about the Aqueduct, visit the USDA Forest Service web site; the American Society of Landscape ArchitectsAwards page; or read about the National Timber Bridge Award in the Press Release from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

The Forty Foot Road Pedestrian Bridge is designed with a simple Art Deco
motif that is integral to the structure. The bridge spans a newly widened and depressed Forty Foot Road at the center of the developing Towamencin Village in Montgomery County, PA. The Towamencin Village plan was authored by SC and emphasizes inter-modal transportation, high-density mixed-use development, pedestrian access, and open space for a new village center within an existing suburban community. |
