ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE

We are a small business enterprise of seventeen people: two principal Landscape Architects; a professional staff of thirteen Landscape Architects and planners and two administrative staff.

Principals responsible for all projects and work directly with experienced project managers to serve clients directly in projects through all aspects of the work. Landscape architects serve as project designers, planners, and production personnel.

SC principals are registered landscape architects in Pennsylvania, and hold registrations or certificates in Delaware, Massachusetts, and New Jersey. Three other SC landscape architects are registered in Pennsylvania.

PRINCIPAL LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTS

William Collins, RLA, ASLA

William Collins is a principal landscape architect of SC, and oversees planning and design projects in the areas of transportation, recreation, and heritage. Bill has over 20 years experience, including professional construction experience on traditional timber structures in the historic landscape. Bill has developed a special expertise in bridge design, and he enjoys working with communities to develop and achieve their visions.

Peter Simone, RLA, FASLA

Pete has practiced landscape architecture in the Philadelphia area since his graduation from Rutgers University in 1975. His training in the profession, however, began with his father’s New England landscape design and construction business. Pete’s experience in landscape design, construction and maintenance continues to influence the practicality and efficiency of his work. During his professional career, he has participated in an extensive range of project types covering the full breadth of the profession including planning, zoning, and “traditional” landscape architecture. Pete came to Philadelphia to row competitively for Vesper Boat Club. He is past president of Vesper and today serves as a club trustee. He continues to compete in master’s races.
